RIE® Parent-Infant Guidance™ Class
The class brings any parents and their babies together to learn about their baby’s development and see the RIE® Approach in practice. The classes are offered in-person for parents and infants, aged 3 to 24 months. Guided by a RIE® Associate, parents will be invited to relax, connect and build their respectful parenting style. One session is limited to 8 infants and one of their caregivers.
What will you gain ?
Together with a community of other families, you will observe your baby moving, playing, and interacting with peers as they expand their physical, cognitive and social-emotional capabilities. You will learn how to apply RIE principles.
Duration: 1.5 hours / weekly
Location: Ottawa (Drop-in)

Introduction to Educaring®
This online class offers an overview of the Educaring® Approach, where you will learn how this Approach encourages adult caregivers to see young children as competent and capable humans from birth.
What will you gain ?
The Approach seeks to help parents and professionals build stable, secure, healthy relationships with infants and toddlers, encouraging the children’s natural abilities from the very start. It includes the following topics:

Communicating respect through everyday interactions

Respectful Caregiving Workshop
We will discuss how to set up an appropriate environment, routine and communication to encourage your child to become an active participant during the caregiving activities.
It consists of a series of workshops with various topics such as diapering, bathing, feeding etc.
What will you gain ?
Based on RIE® principles, we will aim to transform your daily caregiving tasks into opportunities to connect deeply, and build your baby's practical life skills with confidence.
Duration: 1 hour
Location: Online or in-person
Cost: $30 / class

Private Consultation
We offer private consultation to discuss your parenting needs in details. For home visit, the RIE® Associate will come to your home, observe and discuss how to set up an appropriate play and caregiving environment for your infant. Our home visits consultation are for now only available in Ottawa, ON. If you are seeking for advices or live further away, we can also set up an online private consultation.
What will you gain ?
It is a prime 1-on-1 consultation with you (and your baby) and an infant specialist.
Duration: 1 hour
Location: Online or in-person at client's home
Cost: $100 / hour for home visit
$45 / hour for online consultation
